Community at TLS
At The Laurel School, we value and encourage all families to be a part of our community. Relationships between children, families, and educators are critical to our school. Our monthly events, guest speakers, workshops, and daily communication ensure our families stay connected and build deep, valuable relationships with one another. Each child is understood and cared for as an equal, vital part of The Laurel School community. Our school environment is the cultivation of a deep, lifelong love of learning.
Safety at TLS
At The Laurel School, we provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for your child, allowing your child to feel secure at all times. Children are greeted with the warm and loving arms of our educators when they arrive. Our facility-wide CCTV cameras and state of the art motion-detecting security system allows our staff to view and communicate with families outside of the building. At the same time, the doors remain locked 24/7. Our neighbours at 33 Division Toronto Police station is our evacuation location and a safe spot in case of any emergency. As we value our community around us, we have worked over the years to develop a positive relationship with our community helpers, such as police officers, firefighters who surround us for maximum safety and assurance.
